Insane story. Have you been following? Panic - Innocents Shot in Manhunt for Cop Turned Killer - YouTube Cop Killer Manifesto Calls for Assault Weapons Ban - YouTube If the police find him, they will likely mutilate him. Seriously. I don't see this ending with a trial.
This has been on the news everywhere. I have not followed the details but my impression is that this man is intelligent, knows exactly what he's doing and is unlikely to be taken alive. I base this all on my degree in Forensic Psychology from Knightsbridge University.:saevil:
I saw on the news the police already shot up two trucks that looked like his. The manhunt for Dorner already has collateral damage, CNN reports: "two people were wounded when officers in Torrance, California, opened fire on a blue pickup truck after it pulled up in front of a house where they were guarding a fellow officer Dorner had allegedly named as a target." While the truck resembled Dorner's, it was just delivering newspapers. Police shot at a second similar pickup truck elsewhere in the city, but no one was hurt. This guy needs to be taken down and fast. He is fighting asymmetrically but thankfully he has not bombed anything or taken any civilian hostages.
I was thinking the same thing. His talk about "asymmetric warfare" has me concerned that he will continue random ambushes of LAPD and their family members, and culminate his attacks with a car bomb or suicide bombing at a police headquarters.
What is he- the Joker? Man... The situation is already bad, but I seriously hope he doesn't have the wit or the wherewithal to actually pull off any of the bad thoughts he has in his mind.
This story reminds me of a girlfriend breaking it off and then the fellow doing stupid stuff to prove to the world that she was smart to dump him. He does have a very friendly smile in most of the pictures that I have seen of him though. Unfortunately a friendly smile is not enough to compensate for murder, at least in my opinion.
I know that nothing about this manhunt is funny but at the same time, you couldn't make this stuff up. One crazed idiot want to talk down another. Charlie Sheen to Chris Dorner, ex-LAPD officer-turned-accused cop killer:
