The Cayman Islands to submit to banking trnasparency. Stock up on your popcorn. http://www.classwarfareexists.com/cayman-islands-to-disclose-hidden-companies-and-directors/ opcorn:
A book on offshore banking that I read a few years ago claimed that at any given moment, about 25% of all the currency on earth was in, or passing through, the Caymans.
I heard recently that things have changed a LOT. It is my understanding that nowadays, there are only about three places on earth where you can still expect complete banking secrecy -- and you probably don't want to deal with two of 'em. The three places named were: Nigeria, Myanmar (Burma) and Nauru (Pacific). And yes -- the Cayman Revelations will be VERY interesting. Johann
Financial privacy is one of those things that is possible if you know what you're doing, but is so rife with fraud that if you don't know what you're doing you're very likely to run into trouble.
One thing that might spoil the fun is that there's so little investigative journalism happening these days that it's not clear who might actually turn up the juicy stories.
