Hate to brag here (well, no, actually I love to brag on the internet, where no one can confirm the veracity of my claims), but in my case it is actually true

I prefer to not write too much down while the teacher is covering the topics. I would rather read the material before class, do some simple to intermediate problems, and then use the time in class to gain the teacher's perspective on the material. Being a transcriptionist gets in the way of learning for me.

Or at least that I claim to be on the internet. Memorization is a skill that I have valued and practiced for most of my life. Still, I haven't found a way to improve my prospective memory and have only barely improved my recollection of people's names. That last one would really change me life. I try mneumonics, but then I forget the mneumonic!!!! lol

I do happen to be an to exception to the rule that doing a degree through the Big Three is much quicker than doing one at a traditional school :banghead:

I'm with you on this. I need to concentrate when I'm writing or listening. Trying to write while I'm tuned in to someone speaking is tricky for me.
