She is a sweet girl, and very pretty as well. Perfect? I don't think anyone has a perfect face, or is perfect.

She's pretty darn cute. I wonder if she can hunt and fish?

Very pretty, but I've seen women who I think are better looking.

Hm. Not unattractive but very bland to me. Not my type at all. I can easily bring to mind no less than 12 of my friends who are more attractive (but I've got to admit, I somehow found away to make some insanely hot friends...) as well as two co-workers, one client, a half-dozen or so indirect consumers and one neighbor.

She's still totally "out of my league" but just doesn't stand out to me.

She's pretty but the "scientifically prettiest" thing is silly. If we're talking about English girls I'd say I think Billie Piper is prettier. (I know, I know, like she'd give me the time of day....)

Extremely beautiful. The Israelis wrote a software program that can determine the beauty of a woman's face algorithmically. It works very well too. They were unable, however, to do one for men. Apparently beauty is only in the eye of the beholder when beholding a man. It is pretty much quantitative for women.

MC. I feel for ya man. The guys with hot girls as friends have it tough. When I was single I couldn't have hot girls as friends. It just didn't work.

This reminds me of the time some years ago when a group of scientists decided that a joke they'd offered up was the funniest on earth. But the joke was lame and not in a funny way.

This girl is attractive, and maybe by some type of measurement in symmetry she has a "perfect face". But there are certainly much hotter women with imperfect faces.

Or! "The Most Wanted Song." It "combines the elements the 500 people surveyed said they wanted most — love, soprano sax, humble ambition, tenor sax, a marriage proposal, cheesy electronic drum fills, working the night shift, string swells, power chords, and saccharine male/female harmonies — into an easy listening-style adult contemporary sound that could peel the paint off of the Space Shuttle."

My wife is the most beautiful women in the world. If you don't think the same thing about yours you have the wrong perspective.

They apparently like the fact that I never make creepy comments nor hit on them. They are my friends :) Maybe one day they'll be more to tell :sgrin:

When I used to teach 9th grade world history, I did a whole lesson on the math involved with Renaissance art and in nature as well. I stumbled upon some diagrams of faces that were created using the 1.618 golden ratio. I'd take pictures of the kids, pop those pics into the graphics program, and overlay the face diagram. It was interesting because the kids who were considered popular and attractive were the ones who fit rather well into the overlay. I also would show pictures of celebrities like Halle Berry and Brad Pitt to demonstrate the whole thing. It was a great lesson.

Back when I was at Oberlin, a friend was working with one of the psychology professors there on facial features and "attractiveness." I don't remember any of the details, nor do I have any citations to the article they were working on, but I seem to remember that the data showed that what people found most attractive were facial features that, in combination, were most common. That seemed counterintuitive to me, but that's what their research at the time showed. It would be interesting to pull up some of those studies (or newer ones) and see what the basis for the "most attractive" person is now thought to be.
