Most Fenway fans are very classy.....when the opposing team makes a great defensive play, there will be the collective "Awww!!!" from the crowd, then a nice round of applause for the great play. Same for when an opposing pitcher is pulled mid-inning; if they pitched a great game, they'll get a golf-clap round of applause. Nothing like for a Red Sox pitcher, but a small acknowledgment of a job well done.
Well done by the Fenway fans - they took an opportunity to shine when surely plenty of folks would have done just the opposite! Nice to "see" that people still care.
