Sorry but if I worked in a place that told me I have to stay in my cubicle and micro-managed when I could go get a cup of coffee I'd be out of there quicker than you can say "take this job and shove it". Why do people tolerate such miserable working conditions? Yes I have a family to care for and feed and yes I have a mortgage, etc. But being a wage slave just isn't worth it and these people were staging a quiet protest management should have addressed. Employees who are motivated by fear have terrible productivity on a good day and can be subversive and cost you money on a typical day. Where the hell did this law firm get their management from?
