Another opportunity to help students Most are aware of the devastating tornados that hit the middle of the country. I adjunct for a school headquartered in KY and they have several students that were impacted by the recent storms. One student lost everything. The sschool is accepting donations to help the affected students so if you feel inclined to help, let me know. I will try to post some contact info shortly. I am particularly sensitive to this type of situation since we had our home burn to the ground when I was a teenager and we lost everything and did not have insurance…we just moved in two days prior to the fire and it was Christmas time. It is unfathomable to lose everything in the blink of an eye.
Here is the follow up information as promised. It is Sullivan University and this was sent to staff/adjuncts. At this time, Sullivan University is seeking monetary donations only to assist students victimized by this storm. If you are interested in sending monetary donations to assist students, you can make a donation in the Business Office located in Enrollment Services on the main campus. You can make a cash, check or credit card donation. You can also make Student Relief Fund donations over the phone by calling the Business Office at 502-413-8310. The funds collected will be used to meet the needs of the students impacted. I know I will be making a donation.
Sullivan huh? I almost enrolled in their doctorate program. I'll look into it tomorrow. Good for you Randell.
