Suzanne Sommers had breast rebuilt using stem cells

This is huge break through for cancer survivors. Though it has been done in other countries, Suzanne has paved the way so it can be done in this country.

Suzanne Somers has advocated so many quack medical opinions that I am skeptical of this claim. Are medical peer review of the results available?

Yes, much of Somers claims border on quackery. Having an interest in stem cell research, this caught my eye. She did gain FDA approval, and we must bear in mind this procedure has been done abroad for quite a while now. What I like is that she could have simply flown over to Europe or Asia and had it done with no fuss or no muss. She decided to have it done here and open the doors of opportunity to others in her situation. I admire this.

I have a friend who is a plastic surgeon, and a friend who is DVM. They both tell me of incredible advancements being discovered in the area of stem cell research. Vets have been the most innovative in the area of stem cell research. My friend uses stem cell technology on his animal patients, and has great success. Ironically, this vet had to travel to the UK to have his should repaired using stem cells, because the procedure is not FDA approved in this country yet. The plastic surgeon is constantly working on advanced technology to separate stem cells from the patients own fat. The technologies in this area are improving almost daily. AS we speak, people who are blind or nearly blind are having their vision restored via stem cell treatment abroad. This technology needs to be offered here.

But I digress, I think what Somers did is a good thing in this case.
