Walden has two options for their PhD programs. One is the KAM based approach which requires the learner to produce a massive paper covering a prescribed topic in a breadth and depth format. The other is the more traditional course based format. The nice thing about the KAM is that it is a self-paced format and students pay per quarter. Has anyone fast-tracked the KAMs? I suppose a person could complete 2 KAMs in one quarter and save a ton of money. Each KAM is 12 quarter hours so 24 quarter hours is a large course load.
