    Truly a time for givethanksing. A rare occasion of all 13 of us in the same place: 3 daughters, 3 sons-in-law, 5 grandchildren; turkey for the carnivores, salmon for the pescatarians, seitan loaf for the vegans, pumpkin pie and Marionberry pie for all. Except for seitan in our midst, we felt rather NormanRockwellian.

    By luck of scheduling I had the actual holiday off, but I did have to work the night before, which somehow has become the new New Years' Eve for drinking and being foolish....the most amateur of all amateur nights.

    Hope everyone had a great holiday!
