Supports my theory that few things in this world are as stupid as the average college kid. (Note: I was no exception back in the day, sometimes I'm amazed I survived)

This makes more sense in this thread. Students of PSU should be ashamed. They showed the world what a Nittany Lion will do, by protesting in support of JoePa's right not to protect ten-year-old boys from being raped.

    Well done, well done.

Young people often like to protest just to protest. Its similar to the kids who wear their pants down below their ass and play their music extremely loud. They have little control over their own lives so they do what they can to impact the world, turn the music up and shout in a protest.
Its not unique to this generation either. It just happens when people are at that age where they want to make an impact but lack the mental and emotional maturity to find a productive way to do so. Sometimes this irrational behavior continues to adulthood. We call this affliction liberalism. It has no known cure ;)
