What? They wanted her to pay her full payment? How dare they try to make her follow her contract. I feel no pity for these people at all. Me and my wife save every freakin penny we can so that if we had our hours cut back or lost our jobs we could live a year.

Before everyone jumps on me here you all have to understand that she signed the paper work saying she would do X if they would do Y. She was not just two weeks late she did not even have the money to make a payment in full. She and others are twisting what's going on here around.

She was late 2 weeks. She then tried to go in to the bank and make resititution. This was here very first late payment in years. I think it would make sense for some to think that it is not right for the banks to gets bailouts, while the bank cannot work something out for a customer whowas only late 2 weeks once.

Come on dude! What are people trying to wist around here.

So rather than accept her late payment the bank would prefer to put the home in foreclosure which means they will get nothing in payment for months, maybe years, and that then when the house eventually sells in forclosure it will be at a ridiculous loss. Based on the info from the tape, the bank is shooting itself in the foot (and making the other people who work with that bank pay the price). The home owner (and family) will lose her home, all the other bank patons will pay the price and the bank president will still buy a new mercedes at the end of the year. It's a pefect occupy wall st scenario.

b4 - keep saving your money. i hope you never need to use it in this way.

Go back and listin to her once more...@2:25 she says the bank wanted a full payment, she said she did not have it. It was not about being late it was about making a payment. If she went in and paid her payment then it would have been all good. Why would a bank lend money if they had no right to enforce the contract you sign?

People need to stop this crap....it's called life. If you've ever thought a bank was your friend you are a fool.

C'mon - you know we are not getting the whole story here. With the backlog of foreclosures the banks have, do you really think they are going to devote their resources to go after a person who submitted a single payment two weeks late? First late payment in years? Are we to take her word for it without any critical thought? How many has she had total? Does she have other lines of credit at that bank that are late? There is a whole lot more going on here than an evil bank trying to screw someone.

I doubt she is telling the whole truth!!!

Kiz-I have to agree with you on this, it's foolish for them to do this if it's true. She had a good track record on payments (according to her) they could have just let her ride a bit and then see what happens.

But it's their right at the end of the day.

Btw a quick Google search showed she had not made a payment in two years....lol.

The bank caved to her terrorist tactics and to be PC gave her a new loan.

I seriously doubt that confidential bank records are available through google. If the bank has made these public then they are in violation of federal law and will pay a serious price.

b4 - I doubt she is telling the truth.

K - Based on what? Clairvoyance?

b4 - But it's their right at the end of the day.

K - I suppose that's true, if you want to end your day as a stupid asshole.

    [random off topic]

The good news is, b4cz28 is still alive.

Our next story, Maniac Craniac usually saves every penny he can, but he decided to buy the expensive salami and dried italian sausage for his sandwiches this week, as well as cheese so fancy that you actually have to slice it yourself. I wonder if there exists such a device as a domestic cheese slicer :scratchchin:

Rose Gudiel reaches new loan agreement with Pasadena bank OneWest, Fannie Mae for Bassett home - Whittier Daily News

Yall are all acting like she's some sort of activist. She is the one who signed the contract, she knew the game and she played it. She did in fact win the fight in the end.

Did you do no research into her at all? Please tell me you did not base your entire opinion of this lady on one YouTube video. She defied a court order staged unlawful protests and was rewarded by getting a new loan.

    TEKMAN Semper Fi!

Well, here is my own situation with the Mortgage company. I had issue paying my loan for a property in Texas that I own because my tenants was 7 months behind the rent. I contacted CitiMortgage to request the solution for financial hardship. Because I was paying my loan on-time since I took out the loan for the house (4.5 years); they told me that somebody will contact me within 48 hours. Nobody contacted me at all, and I tried again after 2 weeks. For the third time they kept ignoring me. Then I started not making payment, then they called me daily. My property is still under shortsale int he market, but waiting for their approval.
