One of my many temporary post-military jobs was armored car guard, and some of the people I worked with I wouldn't trust with sharp scissors, never mind a gun. Not saying they were all yahoos (not even the majority), but some of them truly scared me.
Same here. I was an armored guard for 7 months prior to entering law enforcement and I met and worked with some of the most "off" human beings I've ever seen. My company had three fatal shootings in robberies while I was there and the stress was always very high but some people do it for 20+ years, it takes a certain kind.
