Personally, I've been extremely poor at times in my life (EDIT: That is, according to United States standards. I've never been in Africa-type poverty.) but have absolutely never been in debt for even a single dollar. I wonder what it must be like to have that incredible stress hanging over your head, but I will never accept that insolvency is a sensible reason for suicide.
