There was a guy that had like 20 degrees and 14 were AS degrees. His CV was listed along with some legal papers he produced. It was entertaining and creepy at the same time. Did I imagine this or is someone better at searching then me?
This is what the John Q Public needs to read when they think that dropping 20,30,60K on degree in a different field will change their life. It’s all about experience. The degree just allows you to use that experience by unlocking some doors for you. I talk to a lot of people about college (I know I only have an AS) and everyone thinks getting a bunch of degrees will change their lives. WRONG! If you can’t make it without a degree, what will getting a degree change?
I can think of many fields where you aren't going to get any experience without already having a relevent degree.
