Equivalent of a Diploma for Graduates in the US?

I see that some schools in the UK offer something called a "Diploma for Graduates", which, if I understand correctly, seems like something like getting a second major? That seems kind of useful to me. Maybe it is useful for getting a job in another field? Perhaps it is way to get into a graduate program unrelated to their original major?

Are there any near equivalents of this in the US?

I think here one would do a second Bachelor's. Many schools will exempt someone who holds a Bachelor's degree from another institution from all requirements other than the major if they want a subsequent Bachelor's degree.

Some certificate programs may fulfill that role too.
