Too many different transcripts, bad for admissions?

I'll be preparing an application for a Master's program, but realized I'll probably be sending them 5 to 8 different transcripts, but I only have 1 BA and a small graduate certificate.

1 for community college (some credits are pre-requisites for the Master's)
    1 for my Bachelor's
2 for study abroad programs (maybe I shouldn't send these?)
1 for a graduate certificate program (related to the Master's)
2 or 3 for a various courses (taken as pre-requisites for the Master's)

Good marks notwithstanding, is this going to make me appear like an unreliable flake?

I have transcripts from five undergrad and three graduate programs and do not have issues with getting into new graduate programs.

    YMMV

Submit ALL transcripts, the committee doing admissions typically doesn't even look at the transcripts. A registrar's office or admission assistants will usually enter your relevant info into a standardized form, and the admissions committee will then make their decision based on the standardized info. If you've ever tried to compare transcripts between colleges, you will understand why the committee would not waste its time looking directly at the transcripts. They will have them available just to verify info, and will be confused if one is missing.

Just make sure admissions knows how many transcripts they should expect to see, and get them in early! It might not hurt to call the office after they should have been received, and just confirm receipt of all necessary transcripts, and that your application is now ready to be considered.

Is it bad for admissions? Short answer - No. I have transcripts for many different schools, and it has never been a problem.

XVI.8: Confucius said, "There are three things of which the superior man stand in awe. He stands in awe of the ordinances of Heaven. He stands in awe of great men. He stands in awe of the words of the sages. The mean man does not know the ordinances of Heaven, and consequently does not stand in awe of them. He is disrespectful to great men. He makes sport of the words of the sages."

To get into my masters program I had a transcript from my Bachelors degree institution and then 4 from various community colleges that I attended that went into my Bachelors....no problem with it yet. The problem honestly is on my end because it stinks to have to order 5 transcripts and pay for them because some of my schools charge for them.

Hopefully though I am done with that!

They may only need your transcripts from schools where you earned a degree. I had eight sources of credit that applied to my Bachelor's, but only for my Master's application did I submit them all.
