  2. These extended Auto Warranties have been around a long time. The Caveat is how the holder gets reembursed. Some work like this:
    1. Get your car fixed and pay for it. Send us the proof of payment and we send you a check
    2. Get your car fixed and pay for it at one of our authorized repair centers. See above action.
    3. Get your car fixed at one of our authorized repair centers and we will pay them directly.

If you are traveling away form home, you may just get stuck since there may be no authorized center near you.

My Dad got stuck with a worthless policy :-( Stick with AAA or some other reputable national organization is my advice.

Good advice. Something seems kind of hokey about this company. I have had extended warranties before, but usually you have to buy at the time of vehicle purchase. I think I will do that again.

    Thanks!

This is exactly what I do for a living. I haven't looked at the website; don't have to. Stay with a manufacturer's branded warranty (Ford ESP, GM's GMPP, or a Chrysler Service Contract for your domestics), or a select few aftermarket companies. If you are in the market for one, I can tell you just about anything you need to know on 'em.

If you plan to buy a warranty, you can do it at the time of sale or after, but the dealer will (generally) be more eager to sell it to you at the time of purchase. Ask the finance manager, and negotiate the price. There are no big secrets on warranties, just ask for the manufacturer's brand if at all possible.

I bought an extended warranty (for $700) from the Chrysler dealer at the time I bought my new car. When a major problem occurred three years later, it turned out that the dealer, who had gone out of business, had never registered my warranty with Chrysler, and Chrysler said, "Gee, that's too bad. Not our problem." Fortunately there was a class action lawsuit, and Chrysler eventually paid . . . even though the defunct dealership had burned to the ground, along with all their records. (How conveeeeeenient.)

    Hey emissary,

Can you or one of your associates sell warranties from AUL? Please link:

    https://www.aulcorp.com/

I had one on my previous MBZ, and these policies are great. They paid every claim I submitted. One VERY unique thing about AUL. You can select the option for coverage AFTER the manufacturers warranty runs out, not before. So, you are covered for A LONG TIME. The small dealer I bought these policies from no longer sells these policies because he wasn't selling enough cars (economy).

I would love it if you could check into this. My wife also has AUL on her MBZ, same great service.

    Thanks!!!!!!!!1

    Thanks,
