I can't believe it either. I thought that his interviews in recent weeks have been a publicity stunt, but, arrggghhh, here it is.

(AP) Associated Press - Trump Card Played for 2012

Despite his pro-Republican comments earlier, he claims to be running as an Independent and aims to garner support from the Tea Party.

I freaking love this. I have no idea if I'll vote for him, but I love that he's running. Shake up Washington a little :)

He's always had "Senator Hair" so why not?

Not surprising, however, I still don’t believe Trump is really serious (e.g., Perot). Look for others to jump in … Obama’s extremely vulnerable (Carter comes to mind), along with the economy being in the tank. I wouldn’t discount challenges from within his own party; Hillary may very likely oppose Obama in the primary (e.g., the DNC also realizes Obama’s vulnerability).

Well done, MC. I deserved a break today, but didn't get one.

I think he should run for president of the Hair Club for Men. With that rug of his, he should win that hands down. As for president of the US, he's a joke.

Considering our track record of "joke presidents" perhaps he'd fit right in.

Probably would be an improvement. The lesser of a number of joke presidents.

I would never vote for someone whose hairdo looks like a piece of cantilevered architecture.

What amazes me is that this guy, with all of his millions, doesn't get a hair transplant. The techniques they use now are so advanced, and don't leave that doll head look anymore. I know a guy that did it, and he looks great.

I want Dick Cheney to run for president. He's tanned, he's rest, and he's reloaded.

Didn't Dick Cheney already have a shot at running our country, with that ventriloquist act he was performing with George Bush Jr., lol.
