    Thumbs up Willy's Jeep

Very cool. About 8 soldiers pull up on a main street in Halifax, Nova Scotia on some (?) holiday. They're in a standard issue WWII type Willy's Jeep. In the span of about 4 minutes they completely disassemble the vehicle, reassemble it and drive off! The idea being to show the genius that went into the making of the jeep and its basic simplicity. Fantastic. Click below.

This was great fun to watch. Brought to mind Ortega's disassembled Volkswagen installation that I saw in a Boston-area museum a couple of years ago. That would take a bit more than 4 minutes.

" The Willys MB US Army Jeep demonstration was put on by Canadian soldiers from the 3 Area Support Group (3ASG) Technical Services stationed at CFB Gagetown strip. The demonstration was during a local army services parade in Halifax on Canada’s East Coast."
