I hit a wall earlier this week, between 16 units, working 40 hours, and my copious amount of time at the gym, I am burnt out.

School is motoring along and I am maintaining a 4.0 GPA but the stress of holding that GPA is taking its toll. GPA doesn't mean much, but since I plan on re-enlisting and perusing OCS, my GPA holds a lot of weight so it's important to me to keep it as high as possible.

Work sucks, but there is nothing new there.

Went back to the gym in November at 225 lbs, in the past five months I was able to drop 30 lbs and I holding steady at 195 lbs. (5'11)

That will pretty much sum up my rant. I'm just extremely tired and I'm ready for a vacation (scheduled for Oct. 2011), but October can't come soon enough.

It's amazing how easily the Freshman 15 can turn into the Senior 60, so I salute you on the gym and the 4.0. Hang in there.

Ain't that the truth... I was a freshman over ten years ago, and that 15 (times 2) still hasn't gone away! haha

I hear you. I went through the same while doing my MBA. Many nights I would write papers until 2 or 3pm, then wake up at 6:30 to get ready for work at 8am. I was tired as hell.

Good job on the working out, that's great!!!!!!!!! 30lb drop while maintaining muscle makes a HUGE difference. Taking some vitamin b-12 for an energy boost.

Also, the stress of work can get to you while doing school work, finding time for the gym, then going home to do schoolwork. Try to at least take a Friday or Monday until you make it to your vacay!

    See ya,

    Abner :)

Funny you said that cause I haven't used a sick day in 8 years, but last week I called in and asked to have a "Mental Health Day." My boss just laughed (He is a friend of mine) and said no problem and gave me the day off. I used the time to generate two 7 page papers for school. Not the most relaxing day off, but I was able to catch up on my studies.

Way to go. Also, if you have time check out this www.anabolnaturals.com (not anabolic steriods). These are pharmacy/medical grade amino acids in their purest form. I purchase the Amino Balance 500 caps. It helps retain and build good muscle tone, along with other health benefits.

    Keep it up man!

I'll have to check it out. My main goal is to maintain my weight loss, considering I was 185 lbs the entire time I was in the military until I was discharged in 2007.
