Two Nova Southeastern University students will conduct experiments on board the space shuttle Endeavor. The students are Heidi Mederos and Richard Sung. This is a plus for a school that was once looked down by many in the academia because of the roles that it played in pioneering DL in the United States. The story is here.

You know what this means. A 500% increase in tuition.

Nova is not a for-profit university. It they have to increase tuition, it has to be based on some other circumstances.

Just to clarify, theses are on-campus freshman honor students, not DL students. Also, they are not actually going up in the shuttle. Their experiments will be placed on the shuttle.
