As a white male, I totally would've applied for a "whites-only" scholarship if it would have resulted in my not having to pay as much in tuition! When I was a high school senior, I applied to everything I could, and fortunately, I recieved enough to not have to pay a dime for undergrad. Grad school on the other hand... yeah, let's not talk about that! hahaha -Matt
When he left his money to establish scholarships in his name, Cecil Rhodes specified that the scholarships were solely for white males in the UK and in the 13 American states. A gentleman and a scholar, eh?
