    Favorite TV Themes

Add these to the list of things that just aren't the same today as they were in the 90's and earlier. Here are my top five. Please list your own.

The Busy World of Richard Scarry I just wanted to remind everyone that children's television shows used to be good. It's such a busy world in Busy Town

VR Troopers If any of you know what this show was, you probably remember being teased mercilessly for watching it. Who needs friends when you have spliced footage of Japanese warrior robots with American voiceovers

Bill Nye The Science Guy Science... sci... sci... SCIENCE!

Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego? I know the words to this song, but not a clue where any of the locations are. Nashville is a continent in Spain, right?

COPS You know you love this one!!! By Inner Circle, one of my favorite pop-reggae ensembles. If you look up some of their other tracks, you may recognize some of the most popular ones.

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air I meant to just limit this list to five, but Big Willy Style as a rapper keeps the 90's alive. I copied down the link, at like 7 or 8, and I said to the trolls, YO HO, kill ya later. I pasted this link here, now to openly share, and reminisce about a town called Bel Air.

Of course, there are dozens more that I wanted to list, but I'll leave the rest to you

OMG the 90's were yesterday. Let's get vintage.

I'm going with the 70's because that was my favorite TV era, you'll just have to use your young imagination. Really liked these theme songs:

The Price is Right!! (the real one- you can hum it, you know you want to!)

Happy Days (were gunna rock- around the clock tonight.)

The Looooooove Boat....soon will be making another run.....the love boat......

Scoobie - Doobie - Do, where are you?

Greeeeeeeen Acres (is the place to be, farrrrrrrrrrm livin' is the life for me)

I loved the Firefly mini-series and was very unhappy that it was never picked up (loved the movie too).

The Mission Impossible theme has HUGE longevity. It was cool when it was new and it carried over to the Tom Cruise series as well.

Somehow I have embedded memories of all the music from the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon shows. I loved all of that. If Frostbite Falls was only in Mexico . . .

Just seeing the title of the thread made me start singing the theme from Gilligan's Island, and of course, there's always Get Smart.
