Either I'm confused by the new layout or I can't find what I need....but in either case, we used to be able to search posts or threads- now it appears as if we can only search threads? If I'm missing how to do this, will someone please point it out, I've been looking for a specific post for HOURS and can't find it!
Yes, that's what I use. There used to be a toggle option (it's still on the old style over at IC- go into adv search you'll see it in there) and you would select to search "posts" or "threads." I'm seriously not seeing that option any more since the upgrade??
Maybe I do not understand your question but when I input a search word (such as Chemistry) into the Advanced Search option (not the white search box on the lighter blue band above it I get several pages of responses from different threads and different forums. I did try a quick search for the words you listed but nothing jumped out as meeting your criteria. PS: What is IC?
Sorry, IC is the InstantCert forum - the CLEP forum. Anyway, they are still on the old format that's the only reason I mentioned them. So, when you use advanced search, you used to be able to choose if you wanted hits on threads or hits on posts. A hit on a post meant that the posts would display- not the thread. So, if I searched for "chemistry" only posts with the work "chemistry" would display. If I search now for chemistry, every thread that contains posts that contain "chemistry" will display. It adds a layer that the user has to manually look through.
Hmm. Sorry about that, I'll mention it to Chip. For now, why not try google site search and enter degreeinfo.com as the URL Google Site Search - A Google Search Engine for Your Website
RX toolbar is a toolbar for Internet Explorer that comes bundled with Kazaa. It has been labled spyware by many antispyware products. It tracks your browsing habits to display related links depending on what websites you visit.
We need a bouncer. Hey mods, what's with the new guy? :newbie: This makes 5 completely irrelevant and nonsensical posts for beenatam. Spamming much? :hitwithrock:
