So being a traditional B&M student who just began his first online course EVER, I have to admit this feels kinda weird. In addition to retaining the material, I'm finding myself seated behind my computer with that WTF face as I'm also trying to get used to the online format.

Did anyone experience this, and how long did it taken before you got your bearings and felt comfortable?

I loved it from the start. Yes it take some time to get used to the layout of Blackboard/moodle, but once that was over it was so much better. What makes DL so nice is you can take DI breaks as you please!

Me too, I didn't have a problem with it. It's more fun if you post earlier in the week so that you can be proactive about the direction of the conversation. (And that way not all the obvious things to say have been used up by your classmates!)

So true … an excellent suggestion Steve.
