Not that I'm pro incest or anything, but if the relationship was consensual, why was he arrested? And IF the authorities were going to arrest people for incest, why was the daughter not arrested?

Not that I'm pro incest either, but she is 24, so it does seem a little off. My question though, is how did the police find out? Someone inside the family or outside? I think finding out THAT person's motive might really be necessary.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a lot of details were omitted from this article.

My first guess is that while the daughter is currently 24, the sexual abuse actually occurred when she was a minor. Perhaps it was only once she was older that she felt safe enough to disclose the abuse to the authorities.

I don't think this should be a crime? Something is a crime when it hurts the public. I think it's wrong what they were doing but who cares. But hey who am I to say, I was the last officer is the US to write a ticket for homesexual behavior Class C....
