The American Medical Association's initial response was so typical of the way many people deal with such revelations: In the materials for a cardiology training session this guy was scheduled to lead, they did nothing but change his bio from "Dr. Hamman" to "Captain Hamman." But higher-ups at AMA overruled, and the session was cancelled.

 

All I can say is Wow! He must have been a real good bs artist.

 

I'm surprised no one checked on his credentials earlier. I always check out the doctors I use.

 

This reminds me of the old guy poising as a Marine Corp General (4 Star) traveling the country giving motivational speeches which cited all of his combat experience. Then it was discovered that although he was a Marine, he was an enlisted Lance Corporal during peace time who was dishonorably discharged after a 4 year enlistment if memory serves me correctly.

Either case, you would think these guys would lay low instead of seeking the spotlight knowing their degree's are BS.

 

I remember that case. Sad.
