I've just finished a ginormous batch of ratatouille for Thanksgiving dinner. This year has been more than stressful, it's been life-changing. Aside from my job and my ambitions there's not a single thing connecting me to last year except my memories. The subtitle to my life right now is "Lost and Found." Sometimes when you make changes you can feel ripped apart. Still, it's all good and I wouldn't go back. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year because it seems to be the least corrupted, the most universal and pure. I just love the idea of setting aside a day to give thanks for all the good in our lives. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope that the Pats beat the Lions.
Happy Thanksgiving Kizmet!!!!!!!! And thanks for being a great MOD!!!! We love you! Happy Thanksgiving everbody!!!!!!!!!! Abner
Happy Thanksgiving! I won't be cooking today, we're going to go visit my husband's grandmother and then his father. All I had to do was pick up a few bottles of wine! I'm especially thankful this year for the DegreeInfo forums. Because of the info I found here I've applied to Excelsior College and as soon as they get my transcripts reviewed I'll be enrolling and completing my college degree!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Please say a pray for the young men and women deployed in the Armed Forces. I hope they enjoy their MRE turkey. May they return safely.
The Tofurkey goes in the oven in a while and everything else is in various stages of preparation as children noisily bounce around the house. It's everything good about Christmas without all the shopping!
and so by now everyone knows that the Pats DID beat the Lions (the Lions always fade in the second half) but now their next game is against the Jets. This is easily the biggest game of the year for both teams. As Rex gets more nervous he's sure to say some really stupid stuff. It's sports theatre!
