I went to Applebee's today and we had a free lunch with three of my fellow veteran's. All of us served in separate branches of the military, we covered the USAF, USAR, USN, and USMC. (All of us are combat veteran's of either the Gulf War or Operation Iraqi Freedom) Its was a blast to be around real people again who you can relate too on a level you can't get with anyone else. Plus the hazing that goes along with such an interaction is hilarious. The waitress approached the table to take everyone's order when the Army Veteran jumped the gun and stated, "Well we have someone here from almost every branch of the service. So my Air Force friend will take anything that fly's such as the chicken. The Marine was have anything that rolls around in the mud, such as the Pork Tenderloin. And my Navy friend will have the tube steak smothered in underwear." I laughed so hard I almost feel out of my chair, lol. Happy Veteran's Day. Hooah !!
