It has been 3.5 months since I finished my AA, and my conferral date was three days ago. Well, that was painful enough, but today, I got home to find that the diploma had arrived!!!! Errr, but I live in an apartment with a small mail cubbie, so I was left with nothing more than a na-na-na-na-na-na-WEEEEE-got-your-package receipt from the USPS. Of course, after work, the post office is closed, so I have to try to make myself sleep tonight while constantly thinking about the piece of paper that bears no difference from thousands of other pieces of paper, excepting that the blank part of the template bears Maniac Craniac's birth name... AAAAAAARRRRGGGG!!!!!!
I slept quite well, thank you. All is right with the world, now that I have my diploma propped up on my desk and a cup of warm carrot juice in my hand to savor as I stare at it
Ahhhhhh everything was kosher until we got to the warm carrot juice part. How about a cup of warm broccoli juice or, even better still, how about a warm cup of brussel sprout juice? Why stop with warm carrot juice? :hypnotized: LOL :smashfreakB:
Because carrot juice is the zenith. Don't knock it until you try it. F-R-E-S-H carrot juice warmed on the stove or microwave. Heaven in a mug Broccoli juice, brussels sprout juice, and pretty much anything green really need to be cold. Cucumber juice is perfect for a warm summer day. If you want warm, stick with the orange stuff: carrot, sweet potato, butternut squash. Some types of fruit juice are nice when warm, too.
Fresh carrot juice (from sweet carrots, that is, not the bitter stuff that's usually sold in the grocery stores) is absolutely awesome. But warm? I don't know... my initial reaction is ick. However, I never tried it that way... However, my drink would be a cup of homeroasted coffee, half decaf (also homeroasted - nothing like the decaf sold out in the world) - smooth & delish. Better than a fine wine, IMO. (glad you finally have that all-so-important piece of paper in your hand!) :stickp4: (I have no idea what the initials on this sticky means, but I've been oh-so-wanting to use it.)
I don't see why that would sound like a bad idea... why don't you just try it. In fact, you might want to try my recipe of 2/3 carrot juice to 1/3 soy milk, then warm that up. If you don't absolutely love it, I will permanently extend your membership to DegreeInfo at no charge :shhh:
he should just go for the best of both worlds -- combine his drink with yours and brew his homeroasted coffee with carrot juice instead of water
Well, I don't have a juicer right now (plan to get one... again... eventually. this time I won't sell it on eBay like I did... twice.) OK - love the carrot juice. Not crazy about soy milk. Think I'll pass on that (despite your generous offer about extending my DegreeInfo membership at no charge. :fest06: ) ... prefer to take mine straight up, when I get the juicer.
YUCK!!! :no:uke: Good thing I finished the coffee or I'd have some serious screen-cleaning to do.
