CNN Video: Stephen Colbert goes to Capitol Hill.

Stephen Colbert testified in front of Capitol Hill regarding immigrate farm workers union. I don't know what I was expecting from Stephen Colbert, but I thought he was going to speak seriously in the issue and not fall back on his television persona.

I like Steven Colbert, don't get me wrong, but I was kind of expecting him to act seriously while testifying on Capitol Hill.

LOL, though his message was right on point.

 

It was the best ratings CSPAN 3 has got in a long time. I felt like I wasted my time watching it.

 

I'm a huge Colbert fan, but I was unhappy with him. I believe that while a joke or two would have been OK, he should have stepped out of character and been serious for more than 50 seconds. The 50 seconds he was serious was well put but cursory do to the small amount of time truly devoted to the issue.
