I'm telling you, this is an amazing video! Wow!
Could you elaborate on your "associates"? :-D

Honestly this video truly makes me want to revisit the amazing world of the martial arts.... especially those last couple minutes. I'm in awe! Please give them my respects if the opportunity arises.

Associates = Kenpo brothers, sometime workout partners.

:) I've always wanted to get into martial arts but never had the time, energy, or money, and I have a neck problem that makes it very hard to work out significantly in any way.

In your case, I would probably start with Tai Chi, as it will loosen you up, improve your balance, teach you how to breathe properly, etc. Translated, Tai Chi means meditation in motion. You can usually find classes at your local CC or Adult Education Center for a low cost.

I had several friends who were very good at tai-chi, one was a black belt in shaolin and very dedicated, unfortunately, they all moved away.

Last time I really tried to work out I hurt myself very badly, and it wasn't a mistake, it's just that my neck can't even take a couple pull ups without locking up for three weeks. It's really frustrating. I'm home much of the day for work and want to get back in shape (I've been in decent shape my whole life and the last couple years I just haven't been). I've also got an undiagnosed respiratory problem that only shows up in winter that makes it impossible to go outside for more than a few minutes much of the year. I'm horrified that I'm already starting to have issues with it this year. I'm sad to say I wasted much of my free-time this summer.

    :(

This is the kind of medical garbage that is hard to take care of, expensive and time consuming. I don't have the cash for consistent chiropractic work let alone figuring out why I can't breath in the cold. To top it off half the Internet seems to think chiropracting is a form of quackery anyway so I'm not even sure if it would help.

WOW! Hip hop artists that are truly artists! With lyrics that I can actually stomach! I thought they were a dying breed. Maybe I should record my album after all ;)

This stuff is what I can do in under two minutes. I'm not sure you could handle some of the songs and poems that I have dedicated months to crafting :)

Do you have a youtube channel? I bet you are the kind of personality that could make one that doesn't suck.

Although I'm kind of considering a youtube boycott due to the extremely intrusive ads. Problem is, nobody is doing any better.

I'm considering making one. Well, I do have an account and have already created a logo and some theme music for it. It would be a mish-mosh, though. Some poems, some clunky animations, some social commentary and some off-the-wall and some satirical humor. Maybe I'll even throw in a few WIN/FAIL videos :D

However, that could only take place if I were to one day have enough "hobby time" to do it. Eh, we'll see. I've been considering making my own mish-mosh website to host videos and showcase my writing for over ten years. It has, however, been over 10 years since I shut down my last website and I haven't put up a new one since.

At any rate, I really need to just finish my degree and need to stop letting random interests get in the way.

I would LOVE to see a rickyjo channel, though!

I put extra effort into appearing not boring on this site, I'm afraid a rickyjo channel would prove boring. I do suspect that I could produce a decent political blog but I would have to monetize it to make it worth the research. I have a lot to learn before I could viably go into specifics in many cases.

I wonder if you could get medical care at your local CC? Here in Cali, CC health fees cover some medical care stuff. It might be worth checking into it. Of course, CA has one of the lowest (if not the lowest) CC tuition rates in the country. Here, it would be worth it for someone to enroll for a .5 credit gym class so they could at least get general medical care until they find permanent health care.

    Just a thought,

That's great thinking! I don't think the medical care out here is for anything but emergencies at the community college, but I'll look into it. Additionally, getting signed up for a 3 credit class at my CC would be approaching $1,000, I'm uncertain of what a one credit class would cost...

Maybe I could take some kind of niche technical course for one credit. A resume stuffer if you will.
