When I try my just posted message is covered by a hoard of 'wink' faces (). This has been happening for around a week.
You can only edit messages for about 10 minutes after posting. Are you talking about these edit problems happening in the first 10 minutes after a post? We are having some weird issues with vBulletin at the moment, so I can add that to the list of problems to look at.
If you hit the button in the top right of the editor (switch editor mode), the blue winks go away. Not sure why, but it seems to work.
Yes. This switches the "editor mode" between two available modes. I believe the other (non-functioning) mode allows you to use HTML, but the ability to use HTML has been turned off on this forum anyway. Of course, the reason for this: is a mystery to me.
