I have been toying around with the idea of buying a used Roadster. Are they a nightmare to maintain and fix? Or am I better off trying to get a new or hardly used Roadster? This would not be my main transportation, it would just be for tooling around town once in a while. What do you dudes and dudettes think?

I say no. I might be a safety nut but (nut but..lol) it seemed like every bike wreck I work age 16-40 either killed the rider or really hurt them. My wife’s uncle just wrecked his bike about a year ago, he was only going 30 mph and a Jack A** pulled out in front of him. He is just now getting out of the long term care facility he was in. A car wreck at 30 mph , no big deal. A bike wreck at 30, big deal. Now think about how many motor vehicle wrecks you have been in your whole life, what if one of those wrecks had been on bike? Sorry Ab, not trying to scare you, I see motorcycles as death traps though.

Thanks for the concern, I appreciate. Now that I think of it, you are right. I totalled my car a couple of months ago. It was a hard impact type of accident. I was in my MBZ, and walked away with a scratch, although my beloved baby went on to the car happy hunting grounds.

I will think about what you said,

    Have a good one,
