Is it degreeinfo.com's desire for all its posts to show up in search engine searches? Or is the desire that only the home page be found via planned metawords )?

I've lately gotten a couple of hits on individual posts on Google while searching for DL or educational subjects. If only the home page should be found through searching, then some robot counter-measures might be needed.

I curious what others think of this?

Since the internal search engine doesn't work very well, I am thankful that the external search engines can sometimes be helpful for finding topics already discussed here.

In any case, it's not a bad way to bring interested web surfers into the forum.

I looked at the version 5.x documentation for this BB software and it said, "UBB indexes only the first 210 characters of each message to speed the process." I think that explains a lot.
