His announcing the winning lottery numbers in advance, last fall, on live television, was great showmanship. This was, apparently, a media sensation in the UK. NO! I think you misunderstood! Derren Brown is not a psychic, nor does he claim to be. In fact, he himself is a skeptic and has spoken out against such frauds. He claims to use psychology and mentalism for his tricks. However, I don't see as much mentalism as I do paid actors, camera tricks and stage magic in his productions. At most, he may have the ability to hypnotize but it's debatable whether he really even does that.
