Has anyone seen Up? I mention it here because its themes include perseverance and purpose at different stages of life, which are relevant to education. I grabbed it for my weekend visit with my daughter, because it's a Walt Disney movie thinking it would be solely to entertain her. Instead it was really worthwhile and very moving. I'd like to hear anyone's opinion.
I thought Up was a really cool movie. My shrink thought it was cool, too, especially how it was psychologically uplifting to see the old guy evolve from a curmudgeonly old man to a nice older chap who took it upon himself to provide guidance and personal leadership to a young person in need of assistance getting his assisting the elderly badge.
