Is anyone familiar with the communications product, Ooma? It appears to be a VOIP product like Vonage except there is no monthly fee for basic service. If you want some extra services for Ooma you can get them (with a monthly fee). I think it's good to have a home phone but really like the idea of dropping the monthly charge. CNET gives this thing a glowing review. I'd just like to know if anyone's heard anything about it from actual experience, good or bad. http://www.ooma.com/
The Ooma commercial on the radio featuring "the talker" is pretty funny. A man who talks incessantly due to Ooma's unlimited calls is the subject of the commercial. Tom
