One of my jobs requires me to create a web page using MS Sharepoint. This is the worst program I ever used. Through trial and error I got a basic site up and running.
Does anyone know of a good guide to using SharePoint?
    Thanks

  2. When you say "MS Sharepoint" do you mean the Sharepoint Designer (which really used to be MS Frontpage) or the back end server?

I thought Frontpage became Expression Web?

    I mean MS Sharepoint Server

The web site is up and running at the server level (called Extranet).
I have to add several linked together web pages.
I see guides advertised such as this one:

I'm just wondering what guide might be best for newbies to sharepoint.

  5. I believe that Expression Web is the successor to Frontpage, whereas Frontpage itself became Sharepoint Designer.

    From Wikipedia:

"Microsoft SharePoint Designer (full name Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer) is a WYSIWYG HTML editor and web design program from Microsoft exclusively for SharePoint sites and part of the SharePoint family of products. It is part of the Microsoft Office 2007 family but not included in any of the Office 2007 suites. The name change, from FrontPage, reflects the emphasis on designing and customizing SharePoint websites, while Expression Web is the full-featured successor to FrontPage."
