The one-line description says: "A nuttty Professor from a Kansas University goes crazy and drops his pants during an argued filled college debate against the University of Pittsburgh." I'm deciding not to watch it . . . unless, of course, it turns out to be Shrock.
The professor acting like a child in this video is Dr. Bill Shanahan. He was fired for his conduct in the video: http://www.fhsu.edu/currentevents/display_event.php?id=3604 Here's his blog, too: http://www.everydaycitizen.com//bshanahan/index.html I laughed when he said he was the debate coach...
I'm glad FHSU did step up and get rid of him while recognizing the good things he did accomplish prior to this incident... makes you go "hmmmmmmmmmmmmm", doesn't it? *looks for the smiley that points finger at skull and taps it*
This is hilarious. They both acted like idiots. Who jumps up and calls out a random professor for having a sour expression? But the professor mooning the students is a new one. I love the "we don't need to see that" look when he does it too. Dude's looking really rough though (shoeless???), so it was probably time for a vacation.
This was crazy to watch. I was never in CEDA (did parliamentary in college), but I kind of kept up with what was going on, and had heard about the argument that the aff was running this year about marginalization of minorities in debate. Never thought it would rise to the level of one coach mooning (but not really mooning... come on) a judge. I can second everything you said about debate, though. The years I spent debating at Macalester were amazingly helpful as I've gotten into the adult world.
