A reader asks me about them, and I am not familiar with them. Their ad, sent to me, suggests that they offer a free college-finding service, having 'already researched over 10,000 colleges and universities..." The only relevant website I can find (http://www.innovationads.com/the-academic-advising-center) suggests that they are a lead-generating fee-based service for colleges and universities -- which, o skeptical me, brings into question whose best interests they have at heart, since, presumably, most of those 10,000 schools don't pay them a commission. Perhaps some hardy soul(s) in quest of a degree program will call 888-292-9943, and report back on how well they did.
I just called, but they are not open on Sunday: "There are no student advisors available to help you at this time, please leave your name.....etc.....and an advisor will return your call as soon as possible. Our advisor hours are Mon-Sat from 9am to 10pm."
