Miss Sally Edwards is a highly esteemed third grade teacher at Clark
County Elementary. In an effort to prepare her students for the
all-important TAKS test, she compiled an exam consisting of 20
questions, which she administered to her class last Tuesday. The exam purposely covered a broad array of topics.

I call your attention to question # 11, which simply read:

LIST, IN ANY ORDER, THE FOUR SEASONS:
    1. ________ 2. ________ 3.________ 4. ________

Now, could you possibly imagine that 67% of the students gave the
    following answer?

    1. DOVE SEASON

    2. DEER SEASON

    3. DUCK SEASON

    4. TURKEY SEASON

    God bless Alabama ...

Whew I'm glad I live in S.C., for a moment I thought we had those seasons imposed on us too!....whew
Our season is a little different; it is based on two concepts:
    1. If it’s brown it's down!
    2. If it flies it dies!

I was actually in the "backyard" yesterday. clearing off an area for a small Dove field (Millet) and ten or so Canadian geese came right over in a beautiful banking flight....perfect setup to have been armed with a fine English side x side with a some #4's or #2 steel -(for those who like water fowling)
