Toto or Kohler? What is the best

So the debate rages on. Which brand of toilet is better, Toto or Kohler? I am looking for custom colors (non color - black), and maximum flushing power. Kim and I are shopping around for bathroom remodeling stuff.

I know Kohler is good, but does anyone own a Toto?

My plumber told me to buy Kohler. I did. No problems since.

 

Thanks Kizmet. Kohler is very good. I ended up special ordering two Toto toilets. Apparently, they have the strongest flushing power.

I'm a toto fan myself. I just wish i had a reason to replace the other toilet in my house with one.

 

Toto? At first, I was wondering whether we meant Dorothy's little black dog from the Wizard of Oz or that annoying late 70s/early 80s band that sang a song called "Africa." What's a Kohler?

 

Kohler is the second best toilet. Toto is number one due to their superior engineering. All the internal parts/traps were redesigned for strong flushing and no clogging, while maintaining the new 1.6g codes.
