    Hi all,

I would like to start blogging about my studies at AJU (recently enrolled). I would like to get some recommendations of blogging platforms I could use.

    Thank you! :D

Does degreeinfo itself have a place to blog degree progress?

Not officially; some members have shared their blogs with us (Fortunato comes to mind), but there is no official DI blog.

WordPress is a good blogging platform as you can have your blog hosted or choose to run your own server and blog software.

BlogSpot.com provided by Google is another hosted blog option.

The elearners.com web site offers a blogging feature that a few DI members have been using to chart their adventures in distance education.

Wordpress is a monster. Wordpress has a ton of good plugins if you plan on getting deep into it.

+1 for wordpress. the latest release (2.7) is amazing.

You can get a free hosted blog at wordpress.com or download from wordpress.org and host your own.

Thank you all for your suggestions. It appears Wordpress is the winner! :)
