After trying several different types of cordless phones, I finally found one that doesn't give me static on the line due to DSL. It is the VTECH DECT 6.0, Digital cordless. Here is a link: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2786131 You can order more handsets as well. I also discovered it is good to change out your DSL filters at least once a year. I am just happy as hell not to always have to say "I am sorry, can you repeat that?". I thought I would post this in case it helps someone else. Abner
Cordless Phones. How about a combadge? What was once science fiction is now a reality. http://www.merl.com/projects/ComBadge/
A ComBadge-type communications device would be very handy in some situations where a cellular telephone or standard two-way radio might not be as effective. "Computer. What is the status of the search function on degreeinfo.com?" "The search function is not responding." "Mr. Scott. Get the search function back online immediately." "But Captain I'll need at least an hour to diagnosis and fix the problem. After that who knows how long the warped search function will hold." "You have 30 minutes. Otherwise the tribbles will be visiting you."
