Could the administrators of these forums require that new accounts have their messages reviewed, during the first 5-10 posts, prior to posting to the forums? The level of SPAM seems to be slowly, but noticeably, on the rise. As an alternative, maybe adding a new discussion forum called 'Request for Access/Membership' and limiting new people to posting in that forum until they are approved for full posting access (minimum of 5-10 messages; approved messages can be moved to the appropriate topical forum by the administrators, but any account that posts any SPAM is immediately locked out). I hope we do not have to become an invitation-only membership.

Somebody/something called 'Unsurn' still has two posts advertising porn-sites posted to threads in the 'unaccredited' forum. (the 'MA counseling' and 'bppve inactive' threads.)

Reviewing messages for the first 10 posts is a good idea.

Not anymore....Unsurn is riding the ban bus. :D

Something like what sentinel described is beyond my technical expertise, and I'm not sure it's needed at this point. Spammers realize their messages get deleted and their accounts banned very quickly, so they move on to softer targets.
