Happy Thanksgiving! I just put the stuffed turkey in the oven!

I have a great deal to be thankful for this year - my family is doing well, I have a great job and am very blessed.

Please take a moment, despite how you may beleive about the war, and remember our servicemen and servicewomen away from thir families. Having served in Iraq, the holidays can be tough because you really want to be home with your family then.

Our tofurkey is in the oven, so at our house, even the turkeys can give thanks. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Is this the first Thanksgiving that most of the big stores have been open? I don't remember this in the past. I went to the K-Mart on Thanksgiving morning because they were advertising a Magellan car map device for $99, today only, and the place was jammed at 8:00 in the morning (as were many of the other mall stores). And tomorrow, Friday, most of them are opening at either 5 or 6 am, but JC Penney is advertising 4 am.

I am so glad that I own everything I could possibly want -- except the car map thing. K-Mart sold out of the 100 they had by 7:15 am, many of the people camping out overnight for the privilege.

    What would Squanto say?

These sales are all over the news. People camping out overnight...not me. I love to sleep late when I can!

I shop online. The Internet is always open and there are never any lines.

Well, I stuffed myself and promptly went into a nice long 14-hour turkey coma.
