Does anyone have experience renting books from ( http://www.bookswim.com )? They have an impressive catalog of books available. Any other online book rental service out there? There is also ( http://www.booksfree.com/ ).
I order books on-line thru my local county library - if not in stock they get them from another library. There are about 20,000 books on line for free at the Gutenberg Project http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page
Excellent resources. I found literary works that peak my interest ( Zen and Political Philosophy ). Thank you for the links.
Nitpicky? Are you implying that this distance learning forum discusses trivial matters? . It would be grammatically correct for me to use piqued instead of peaked. However, I am glad pique was not utilized. In french, pique means "a prick".
Thank you Ian. I found full view text of interest from the late 19th century and early 20th century. There is even a novel titled "Pique" available for full view. http://books.google.com/books?id=92wOAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA1&dq=pique#PPA1,M1
