  1. any body out there a student adviser or know anything about them and how much they make? I was look at excelsiors webs site and they have some military student adviser positions available and if that is the same job as the one that works on my base the job looks like cake. The only thing is that theirs requires a masters degree, but one at AMU required a bachelors, anyways they don't post the salary and i was wondering if anyone knew anything about these jobs and a ballpark of what they make.

Academic Advisors in the D.C. area rarely start higher than $40,000/year, and at many schools not even that high. You're right that it's not that hard, though. It's an ideal job for someone who wants to work for a school to get a tuition benefit.

  4. that is not really all that much for someone with a masters, you would think that with the crazy amounts of money these schools are making they would be able to share the wealth.
